Disability Access

Speed on Tweed is definitely wheelchair accessible. Although we are not able to make the pedestrian overbridge wheelchair friendly, we have endeavoured to ensure that you won't miss out on any street action.

We recommend that you enter the site from the Northern side of Queensland Road. There is a setdown area just inside the main entrance gate for your convenience. From here there is easy access to all lower track areas including pit lane, Taylor's Corner, the soccer field section of the track, carpark for Club car displays and the main showground.

Access is possible to the upper section of track if you enter via the Eastern side of Murwillumbah Street (Main Street). It is slightly more difficult due to the hilly nature of the street but you will be able to see the cars as they come around Taylor's Corner and through bus stop chicane, all the way up Murwillumbah Street to the roundabout. There will be no permanent parking available next to the Post Office but you will be able to set down in the area if you are travelling with someone who can park the car somewhere else.

There are large grassy areas around the circuit and we appreciate how hard going this can be in a wheel chair if you are by yourself and not used to it. If you need assistance we will endeavour to help you.
