  • Prior to the first car competing on the stage there will be a number of Official Vehicles. Their job is to ensure that the track and spectators are safe and secure prior to the first car competing.
  • We ask that any animals be restrained.
  • Event Officials will be located at regular intervals along the track to assist with the flow of the event. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask one of our officials who will be more than happy to assist you with your queries.
  • The road closure is authorised by the NSW Police. This means that it is illegal to use the road during the closure period. Should you choose to ignore the closures and directions of officials you will be putting your own safety at risk and you may be prosecuted.
  • To ensure the safety of your vehicles we ask that you do not park vehicles on the roadside during the days that the event will use your road.
  • On the evening of Saturday 11th September there will be a concert held in the school grounds from 7pm until 10pm to launch the new festival Cooly Rocks On. Residents are invited to come along and enjoy the entertainment at this free event.
  • Construction of the track circuit will commence on Tuesday 7th September.

The safety of you and your property is imperative, and your support in adhering to the above will ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable event. Speed on Tweed thanks you for your continued support and co-operation with this event.
